Marks & Spencer Simply Food

So…

Today I visited Marks & Spencer Simply Food in order to find the cheese breadsticks and dips we at during the brunch at Bayswater (read here). I was craving the cheese breadsticks with the sweet salsa dip, and hopefully some baby carrots with the yummy extra virgin olive oil hummus for another healthy snack option.

I was able to find all the items on my grocery list, and although the items were a bit more expensive than the regular grocery run at Waitrose, they were definitely worth purchasing! I also found the 2 for £4.00 option for seedless grapes, and they were definitely firm enough through the plastic (I hate soggy grapes).

The biggest decision to make? Whether to eat hummus with carrots, or breadsticks and salsa, before heading out to watch 39 Steps at the Criterion Theatre. In the end I was craving salty and sweet more, so I went with the breadsticks/salsa combo. I did end up eating the hummus when we got back home though – I was starving!
