Lunch at Pret a Manger

So…

Today Notsile and I had a quick lunch at Pret a Manger before heading off to the tube station for our afternoon class. It’s less than 5 minutes from class at the Monticello House to the Pret right in front of Russell Square Station, and the weather was really nice so I felt like taking a couple of quick photos!

Pret a Manger holds a nice selection of ‘healthy’ food: I enjoyed the sandwiches and look forward to trying some of the desserts and fruit cups some other time, but for today I just wanted a quick bite to eat before going to meet Andrew and the rest of the class for our Monday tour.

For lunch I decided to buy a can of Coca-Cola (which didn’t really give me the caffeine boost I was looking for) to go with my “Ham, Cheese, Tomato, and Bacon Croissant”. The was pretty delicious, and the only thing I didn’t like about the croissant was that the cheese did not melt properly (and the inside oozed out from the croissant every time I took a bite).
