Today was definitely a lazy day. I decided to spend part of my afternoon using my new camera and fiddling with the different settings – my dogs were happy enough (read: uncaring enough) to be my models.
Ziggy is the eldest: our family’s miniature Schnauzer, he’ll be 10 years old on March 28th. Moogle, our other schnauzer, would have turned six last October 9th. Simon the west highland terrier (aka Westie) will turn four on July 23, and Elmo (our French bulldog) celebrates his first birthday on June 24. In the photo below, the dogs from L-R are Ziggy, Moogle, and Simon.
When the family decided to have a photoshoot again this Christmas with Leo Castillo (the photographer in charge of family photos in 2010), my family decided that we wanted to replicate the family photo we had with the dogs. In the photo below, the dogs from L-R are Ziggy, Simon, and Elmo.
Because I am allergic to fur, my mom brought home dogs that did not shed (or shed very little, at the very least). This was a plus, because I’ve heard horror stories from friends finding dog hair all over clothes – especially black ones! My Instagram and (now) Flickr are full of pictures of the family’s babies, since they are quite photogenic (when they want to be).
